Since we are a family owned and operated business with the goal of sharing the Tennessee River Gorge with everyone, we know your family is important to you. We take every event or weekend getaway seriously to ensure that your time with us is memorable.

Lindsey and Beau (wife and husband) bought a few acres of property in the river gorge in 2012 with the goal of building their home. Fast forward a few years, the duo bought 26 acres, built their home, and wondered, what do we do with the rest of the property? And how do we share this amazing natural beauty with our community?
That’s when Lindsey’s parents, Nelly and Rick, got involved and Gardens in the Gorge was born! The entity is the brainchild of the Miller and Boruff families as a way to share the Tennessee River Gorge with more people. We love the natural surroundings of the gorge and Prentice Cooper State Forest and wanted to find a way to share it with all of you. The beautiful natural surroundings make this an excellent space to celebrate family.
Did you realize that many people in the Chattanooga area do not know the river gorge is in their backyard? We are striving to fix that one event or cottage rental at a time.
We created a little Tudor village nestled into the beginning of the gorge as an alternative to many of the classic event venues - a way to offer something a bit different and fresh!

Lindsey and Nelly, a mother-daughter team, run the day to day operations for our weddings, events, and cottage rentals.
Rick, Nelly’s husband, executes all of the facility maintenance, landscaping, and supports event days.
Lindsey’s husband, Beau, stays behind the scenes but helps ensure the site is fully functional. He also helps wrangle the kids on event days.
Tuck, Malley, and Stone (Beau and Lindsey’s children) are our perpetual cheerleaders and always eager to “help” with daily operations and maintenance.
