Hiking
Gardens in the Gorge has many trails connected to our property ranging in difficulty from an easy stroll to a steep climb (no ropes required). We are also situated near the Cumberland Trail, with easy access to the trail for day-long hikes. Nearby hiking destination include:
Roots Rated trail overview: Prentice Cooper Trails
Snoopers Rock is located within Prentice Cooper State Forest at the top of Suck Creek Mountain, entrance to the forest (via car) is located about 10 minutes from Gardens in the Gorge. The road to Snoopers is about another 10 minutes through the forest

There are numerous biking trails throughout the Tennessee River Gorge through Prentice Cooper State Forest
